| James P. Churchwell CFEI, CPII James
P. Churchwell is a highly accomplished and certified fire and explosion
investigator with over 25 years of experience in fire investigation.
He has qualified in an expert capacity in Ohio, Florida, Kentucky,
Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Ontario, Canada. He
graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Education: Criminal Justice.
After graduating, he served 7 years with the Stow Police Department.
He
has attended the State Arson School in Columbus, OH as well as numerous arson
seminars sponsored by I.A.A.I., PARCO and the F.B.I.
He is also a past president and founding member of the National Society
of Professional Insurance Investigators.
Brian J. Churchwell Project Electrical Engineer / CFEI Brian
J. Churchwell
graduated (with distinction) from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of
Science in Electrical Engineering. He
is also a certified fire investigator with five years experience in fire
investigation and is court qualified. He is a member of Order of the Engineer and IEEE. With
his knowledge and background in electrical engineering, Brian will apply the
electrical engineering standards and principles to fire losses as well as the
forensic examination of evidence pertaining to losses. This
includes product failure analysis, evaluation of the operation of electrical
systems and products, and the analysis of the manufacturer’s warnings and
instructions, electrical codes and standards, and the actions of the utility
company’s installation personal, and equipment users.
